The following pic shows the hose guides on the DP 696/1100 oil cooler

Question is: How do you secure the hose guides to the vent cover?

Right now, the guides are in the mounting hole but they are loose.

I noticed that there is a pin that possibly expands the stud on the guide into the hole on the vent cover

Anybody?

I went to the dealer and looked at a M1100

The pin inside the hose guide was pushed in which mushrooms the stud into the mounting hole

Went home and pressed the pin in with a small c-clamp - worked like a charm

Now the hose guides don't move around

Not bad when you use the round thing attached to your neck ;D

BTW, hope this helps someone else

[laugh] Even Ducati understand that the canister will be taken off. Why bother fastening the hose guides [thumbsup]
