Popeye the Sailor

I figure if I ever wanted it it comes up for sale every three months.

If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

8,000 starting bid and zero bids.  Reckon the lister was a bit overzealous?  I looked at it when I was looking for an extra Ducati for the garage.  If that guy can get that, I should have bought it!

It feels pretty good.   [moto]

Let me tells ya straight...

The vertical head between your thighs is really damn cool.  There's NOTHING between you and the mechanical contraption propelling your ass down the road too damned fast for both the suspension and the brakes.  Nothing.

It *did* get hot while sitting in traffic on hot CA days over 100'F, but what bike doesn't feel like a blast-furnace on wheels on those days!  I do distinctly remember putting the side-stand down and just standing next to it a few times.  You get the damned-est looks I tell ya...

Although....try this one on for size.  On cold mornings, you could sit ON the engine to warm your arse.  Yes...you could and yes I did.  It was so laughable at times it was hard to ride straight...or even see straight.

The bike was a complete riot.

And I miss it.

A lot.

And yes...if you're interested...she pops up for sale about every 2-3 months.

Oh, and for the record:

Stu is building a rigid chopper.

With a Ducati engine.

That is all.

Nice to see that the owner saw fit to add a sticker to the bike. [roll]

Having Loris sign it means ???????? Did Loris help build, design, or fund it? make the beast with two backs off then and don't sign a piece of art ya douche. >:(

I actually passed the Sharpie to Loris and had him sign the bike...  While the flash bulbs of the press lit off like fireworks.

I guess the editors didn't see fit to print any of the
photos, so that's why I never had the signature clear coated over.  I was going to erase
it eventually...  Sold it before I got the chance.

Hmm....does bp still deliver bikes?

Can't really afford it right now, nor do I really need it, but I've wanted it since Day 1.....
