I used spirit to jailbreak my iPhone last night and I am so happy I did it.

be careful of iphone updates until the jailbreakers give the "ok".

that said, it looks like you've figured out how to fix it when you break it.

Yeah, I pretty much never update it, as I avoid windows as much as possible and the MacBook has its own desk that I don't sit at. The real scare will be when I finger out how to totally mess with it in linux.
