So last weekend I went up to Commonwealth in Louisville to look at the new 848 Dark.  It's a gorgeous bike.  Long story short, I ended up walking out with new leather pants.  I purchased the Ducati Flag leather pants by Dainese (which zip into my Dainese Ducati jacket).  Now all that I am missing is a pair of riding boots, but my combat boots will suffice in the meantime.

Now that it's starting to get cooler, the pants make a huge difference.  The only downside to the whole situation is that I had to buy them a size smaller than I would like.  This just gives me more motivation to continue to lose weight (I'm currently at 175 lbs down from 216).  With the leather pants, I should be able to ride comfortably well into the new year.  Bring on the cold weather!!! Here's the link for the pants.

You lost weight? Are you sick? The concept is confusing and scary. Oh my God it even sounds healthy! Blasephemy!!! Now I have to question my cigar and tequila addiction!!! Damn you! Grin

Good on you! waytogo Nothing like buying smaller clothes. It feels damn good doesn't it? I was a little heavy once but learned to push away from the dinner table and lost 20+ pounds. It was my 40th b-day present to myself long ago. Of course my best weight loss plan was losing 23 pounds in the hospital with four crushed vertebrae... don't recommend it though. laughingdp

I plan to list the Federal Gov't. as a dependent on my next 1040 tax filing!

I have flying honey badgers and I'm not afraid to use them!

The fact that flame throwers exist is proof that someone somewhere said "I'd sure like to set those people over there on fire but I'm just not close enough to get the job done."

CONFIDENCE: the feeling you have right before you understand the situation.

I am going the opposite way.  For some reason, my cycling isn't counteracting the beer & food as much as it used to.  My little S2R800 is feeling the effects.  It requested that I either drop 10 lbs or buy it something new.  Or, was that my wife that made the request.  Either way, I am just gonna ignore it.

I'm not a pharmacist, nor do I know you, but I'll pretend that I know something. Adding some muscle mass gives calories a place to burn productively during cardio. Once I found that, I dropped a few lbs. Then again, if a bag of pork rinds means getting closer to a new moto, forget I said anything!
