If you have ever sat in bumper-to-bumper rush hour traffic on the Long Island Expressway you would gain a revulsive appreciation for just how many cretins are alone in their cars rubbing one out.....which I suppose is entirely their business

except that I am convinced that 3/4's of the rear-end accidents in 2-3 mph traffic are a result of someone looking at their roof liner while spooging on their steering wheel

When I was a daily commuter on the LI Rail Road...a lot of these solo drivers would use mass-transit during bad winter weather....referred to them as "snowbirds"....

they sometimes would forget they were not alone in their cars and would absent-mindedly start fondling themselves in the seat next to you, or farting loudly, picking their noses and eating it and so on....

I used to daydream that the true destination for those trains should have been an extermination camp rather than Penn Station...

the species would have improved from it

yup I see all sorts of dopes behind the wheel, there have even been sightings of a guy who is in our office driving along with the newspaper spread open on top of the steering wheel while traveling at high rates.
I get a kick out of people who drive with their feet hanging out the window or on their dashboard, while that seems to be predominately just passengers I have seen driver's somehow contort their bodies into a position to allow that. That'd make for for a mess in an accident.

I'm not really a fan of being in the car with someone else driving much less no one driving.  I actually like driving.  Well as long as traffic is moving.
