rearsets

has anyone cut the rear pegs off their rearsets and if so what is the best way of going about it i was thinking a grinder what do you think.I think it will look pretty good.

I'm assuming you have a m900ie. When I had oem rearsets, I cut the passenger mount off and rounded off the exhaust mount. Looked nice.

I'd use a hacksaw (dunno yank name) as less likely to get clogged with aluminium or jump into your leg.

Used a grinder under my old Hi-Lux (Tacoma) with a wire wheel fitted to get rid of some rust, the mother f____r caught the material of my combat trousers and wrapped itself in nice and tight. Took a while to look down for damage - luckily everything was still 'intact'  :o

+1 for a hacksaw.  Its not THAT much material and its aluminum.  A new hacksaw blade will cut that like butter.  Then use a file and some sandpaper to make it look all purdy. [thumbsup]
