If they billed the labor to that recall I hope they did the repair associated with that recall as well so you don't have a problem getting the recall specific repair in the future.

Not that I know of. Maybe call your local shop, they can look up your vin and check bike specific bulletins.

do you need special tools to do this job? how do you get the left side case off?
