Radical Ducati RAD 02 Corsa EVO

http://radicalducati.blogspot.com/2011/05/rad-02-corsa-evo-2011.html
Can anyone name the parts:
- monster DSS Aluminium
- customized (?) rizoma rearsets
- BST wheels
- took me a while but it's a 3valve engine
Can anyone tell what frame it is or is it one of their own? All sbk frames look alike to me.
Wonder how much work it would be to convert a 999 into something like this. using their bodywork and subframe.

This bike is awesome!
I would love to turn my 748 into something very similar.

I like it, except for the short tail. It's a track bike, but don't most orgs require the tail (or fender) to reach at least to the rear axle?

most race orgs do... trackday orgs won't care.

The frame is a Radical Ducati steal frame that they make for the bikes. Its based off of the 999's frame.

Yummy!
Why doesn't Ducati use the 3 valve motor?

Because they can charge more for manteinance on a 4 valve?
I seriously dont know, the St3 enginge was. A very solid platform. I know they prototyped a monster with it but apart from that i dont know why they never used it again

Bike is hot.
Is that an ST2 engine? It's a watercooled 2 valver. Those only make ~85 hp?
The 749 frame is a thing of beauty. I actually really like the ST swingarm on there. Going to miss the trellis frame being absent on Ducati's next SBK.

the more i think about it, the bike that DNA put together recently... 2valve sbk... could be the next SS and would be a trellis frame. Which would allow the SBK to go 'frameless' and still have a sportbike in the Ducati world with the trellis.

Eh, I don't think it's "for me."
Too busy, don't care for the tail at all, either needs to have more fairing or less, etc...

Heh, different strokes for different folks. The busyness is what attracts me to their products. They look like thrown together rat bikes, but with proper components and paint jobs.
Also, to correct my earlier post, it's an ST3 engine. Bet this bike is a blast to ride.
