Original Pilot Roads, not PR2

"Yelling out of cars, turning your speakers out the window to blast your music onto the street, setting off M-80 firecrackers, firing automatic weapons into the airâ€"these are all well and good. But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.

Sounds like a deal if they're not ancient!  A lot of people prefer the PR to the PR2.

Good price, but wonder how old they are. Is the standard Road even made anymore?

I bought a front a few months ago after an accident ruined the tire.

I got them from CompAcc for $100 or so shipped.

So at $55 that's a great price.

Very cheap - I'm not a huge fan of the regular road, particularly the front as it has a sorta hard feel to it.  It works ok when hot/dry, gets a bit skitish in cold/wet weather imo.  I ride year round and mostly have been in DC or Boston - a lot of folks won't care if its a bit skitish in the winter in these areas:)  I would want to know the date of manufacture.

They are definitely skid dish in the cold but that's cheap
