Dealership has to go by the factory OEM prices when quoting to insurance.

Find out what State Farm wants back for you to keep it.

State Farm has offered $7500.00 for my bike.  It will cost $1400 to buy the bike back.  I am allowed to take a couple of high-end parts off the bike if I decide not to buy it back.

Thinking I might go that route, steal the rear shock, brembo calipars and rotors, rear wave rotor, tall boys and fork springs.  And call it a day.

Thought?

I would buy the bike back and part it.  Is the engine ok?

But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.

the buyback price can be negotiable too.

when my 695 was tipped I bought it back and parted it cause everything was in great shape minus a couple of scratches here and there.  With this I am not too sure, since the whole front end is damaged, despite the engine being in good condition along with the back half of the bike.  I just don't know if I want the hassle of parting.

If you don't have them, frame sliders are a great investment!
