Hi  :)

I  got a new regulator from Ca Cycleworks http://www.ca-cycleworks.com/products/electrical/esr515

I was wandering if the yellow cables ( in Haynes manual) that go to the alternator have to go in a certain order or it donsent matter ? Because it's hard to figure them apart ( both being yellow) ...there's no indication on the regulator to figure them appart

I got a 1995 900cc Monster

It doesn't matter.

Just make sure those connections are good. Many people have had those connectors melt from bad connections.

dg, corrosion is part of the problem.  It raises the resistance of the terminal contacts and burns current as heat, melting the connector.  Any chance you can buy a small quantity of terminal grease?  It is called dielectric grease or silicone grease.  You should coat the terminals to protect them from corrosion if you can.
