Hey guys,

My starter solenoid went bad in April, I replaced it. Rode the bike fine for a month, went to start the bike up last week, same problem - click, no cranking from the starter motor.

So, do you all know of any other issues that might cause the solenoid / relay to go bad?

bad ground possibly?

did you replace the solenoid with a brand new one?...have you reached out to the vendor that sold you the solenoid for any warranty possibilities?...what bike is this on?...

I am sure there is a whole host of other questions pertaining  to issues surrounding this that others will think of which might possibly answer or lead to your problem...

"Yelling out of cars, turning your speakers out the window to blast your music onto the street, setting off M-80 firecrackers, firing automatic weapons into the airâ€"these are all well and good. But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.

Does the bike crank if you bypass the solenoid?  Did you check that the connector on the back of the solenoid is tight?
