Where to install a resistor(s)?

I got my relay today in the mail and put it on. It works flawlessly. I have a Clear Alternatives LED tail light with integrated blinkers on the board. I thought I remember reading somewhere that it has resistors built in. But with the automotive relay I was using, the Rizoma Zero signals I got for the front still wouldn't fire the relay without resistors. For me that's just more shit to have to try to hide in the wiring bundle. I installed the relay and took the resistors out of line with the Rizoma's and tried it. It worked perfectly and even has a very audible "click" like a relay is supposed to. I'm on the bandwagon about these relays and I'll encourage anybody to buy one.

Total price was just under $16 including shipping by USPS.

Yep. Agreed. Works like a charm. No extra resistors or diodes needed.

Just kidding. Looked too quickly and all flashers blink together. Guess i DO need a set of diodes. Damn!!

Yay! Looked in my electrical tool box and found a pair of new 3 amp 200 PIV diodes. Sure beats buying one for $7 + shipping!

Now I know that the diodes get joined together at their striped ends and then this union gets connected to one of the two wires coming from the signal warning light on the dash.

Question is: which wire? White/Green or White/Black?    I suspect Wh/Gr but anyone wanna confirm?

Green/White is right side. Black/White is left side. Both positives. Black wires are ground.

Wait, so do i have the install location understood correctly? I was under the impression that my diode rig could be hooked up somewhere near the dash and would solve all four signals.

*edit: I just read on some random mc forum that if one were to pull the turn indicator bulb and cap off the wires that there would be no need for diodes. Zat true??

Wires clipped and capped going to the indicator bulb. Signals work just fine now and no extra wires! [clap]

Yes, but now the old couple in the Volvo following you for the last 6 miles will not know you just forgot to cancel the signal.
