I just measured a 696, S2R800, and a '98 M750, which spans the full range of Monster configurations.

All were 17" from top of pegs to seat.

Some (all?) 620's came with a lower seat, ~3/4" IIRC.

I thought he was taking orders? I have a set for an 03 800 if they'll fit.
Woohoohoohoo! Two personal records! For breath holding and number of sharks shot in the face.

I installed 30mm risers on my hoop (M900 1998)...actually raises the seat about 2-3"
Does make the bike a little quicker steering wise....but I like it.

My people skills are just fine.

It's not the old style monster but try sitting on a sf... The pegs are set lower than a new monsters and I've had a 6'4 friend sit in mine.  He said it was really comfy with no issues with the knee bend.

thanks, thought. yeah, i def want to try out a SF 848. i have other bikes as well, and all of them are more comfy than my old monster -- even the S1kRR. the new monster feels like a dirtbike compared to my m900
