So i hear that replacing the slave for the clutch will make life a little better.....  Oberon, EVR?  anyone have some thoughts on the swap? harder/short pull for a softer/longer pull?

I've tried a few different brands and found the Oberon replacement slave to be top quality.

I think there are 28, 29, 30 and 31 mm (maybe also 32) slaves out there, so you should be able to find one that gives you your prefered balance between light pull and travel.

I have the Oberon on my M1100 EVO.  Very well made, very nice piece, highly recommend it.  Clutch pull is a bit lighter than stock and it eliminates that plastic piece that is so easy to misalign when reinstalling the clutch slave cylinder... not sure if the S4R/S has that piece or not.

I fitted a Ducabike 30mm to a S4R and the pull is considerably lighter then stock and the travel wasn't ridiculously different but it is different. It's been on my brothers bike for nearly 2 years with no dramas.

I was thinking a 28mm for the compromise if I have to change mine.
