CAM Redskins Thread (and Ravens too...)

I figured we needed a thread for organizing some tailgate parties, scalping tickets, etc...

So are there any other CAMers out there that want to join up for some Redskins tailgating this year? I split season tickets with a buddy, but I don't know anyone else going to the games. I'm hoping there are some hardcore tailgaters on here that I can mooch from

hmmmm my brother sister and I have 2 sets of redskins tickets this year Austin I believe has the new orleans tickets and my sister and her fiancé have a different set that I'm tagging along with. I'll update and I'm sure my brother would like to see some of you there!

Ummm...not so good. After starting off the preseason looking hot, they finished it by being outscored 71-6 in their last two games.

The regular season home-opener is Sep 14 vs. the Saints. If anyone is going let's join forces.

I did not see this until today. We would have loved to meet up. I took My girl and her mother as well as a good friend of mine. It was the first NFL game for both my future Mother-in-law and my friend. The game was great. Tiff and her mother are from NO and were sad about the loss. So to all you Saints fans: WHODAT just  stomped the Saints? Hail to the Redskins!  It was a good game and we all had a blast!

I need to vent here. This is my 3rd season splitting tickets with a friend, and in the last two years I managed to only go to every home game that they lost. So this should have been my first time seeing this damn team win a game. The day was going fine, I was running a little late, but I met up with Jen and Hy for some last minute tailgating, I was able to get my lost tickets replaced at will-call (I lost all my season tickets during my move somehow), got to my seats with a fantastic bloody mary in hand only missing the first couple minutes of the game...

Then at the beginning of the the second quarter I got this hideous pain in my lower right abdomen. It got so bad that I didn't even care about the game anymore so I snuck off to first aid to get checked out. I barely made it into the room and I collapsed from the pain, crying like a school-girl, and squirming on the floor. They thought my appendix burst so they rushed me out to PGHC in an ambulance. I spent the next 3 hours in the worst pain of my life without any pain medicine because the hospital was over-crowded with people that had gotten sick from the heat at the game.

It turned out that I was passing a kidney stone. I have never felt pain like that before. Even when I broke my leg and ankle I could talk and function like a human being. But this pain had me puking, crying, passing out... not a pretty sight. And I still have never seen the skins win a game!

1 and 1 -- what you got?

We ended up attending our first football game because at the last minute my job gave out 50 free Club seats with Tailgate Club wristbands (we didn't know how/when to use the latter).  I got my arm punched because I left my seat during a Skins play, and then I got dirty looks for copying off of ya'll by banging on my seat during the opposition's snap.  The 0.9mi walk-of-shame to Metro wasn't so bad; it must suck when the other 99.999% of that traffic is on the losing side.

still about6 minutes left in the game skins up 24-17 should be 31-17 but TD got called back... Reffing hasn't been very good alot of calls weren't called mostly holding on both sides redskins and cardinals but anyways HAIL TO THE REDSKINS!!!
