I'm actually looking for a "dual-sport" type motorcycle for my stable.  Something like that would be on my shortlist!

Thanks for the sarcastic waste of text.

The Hypermotard isn't as versatile as it wants to be.  I want more "dual" in my sport for the occasional off-roading jaunt.  An R1200GS would be nice, but I want something without all the weight and electronics; a "beater" if you will.

Think Honda CRF230L(I like the fuel economy!!) or CR650L.  Or Yamaha's WR250X.
