So I had to park my bike in front of my apt building to pick something up and the building manager sees my bike and we start to talk.  Apparently, he's a Harley guy now but raced bikes before (has all sorts of racing certificates(?) in his wallet) and is just generally really passionate about bikes.  During our 10 min convo he told me how to properly break a bike in, covered some riding technique etc.  Then I find out he has a small workshop in the basement and he even built his own (what looked like a mini) bike and does his own powdercoating in a small oven he has.

So my question is this:  how can I take advantage of this awesome opportunity of having this right underneath my nose?!  He told me where to get some powder so he can powder coat anything I want and we can prob hash out some sort of payment system.  I have a Dark monster so I'm thinking powdercoating w/e I can matte black.  Any ideas out there?

Shit, at the cost of powder coating, for him to do it himself, he must really need the extra cash, or has spare time, or he really likes you.

Doenst hurt to make a new friend though!

I wouldn't go with matte black. I would go with a satin, it's closer to the actually color and texture of Ducati's Dark...
