how can anyone support the new england patriots?

as a former pats fan. i cant imagine why anyone could support them after there loss in the superbowl last year. i was so disgusted that i cancelled my nfl network right away. i didn't think much of it at the time but now that football season is upon us again, it makes me want to hurl when i see anything remotley patriots related. they are a monument to failure. and i am now reminded of there terrible loss. bothers me still.....

you know i have been loosing my desire to watch football for the past years for many reasons. 1 the hideous amount of commercials. the one thing that really sucks is that true football fans like i was get punished at the end of the season by the enourmous amount of commercials packed in to the playoffs and championship games and how about the halftime shows? what a joke i used to watch for football not the half time shows2 the new rules concering the catch. man if the ball moves one millionth of an inch its no good3 the players are more and more irritating, celebrating after everplay they make and then the get burned the very next down its annoying4 the refs5 having to pay for more and more games6 i spent 500 bucks that last time i went to foxboro including 16 dollars for two warm chocolates7 the amount of advertising in the stadium, you cant get away from it.... its annoying. 8 also there is a difference between poor play and loosing the biggest game in sports history. loosing that game is the sports equivalent of the troops at normandy being pushed back into the english channel.

so to answer your question,  i am retired. no more football. i think it peaked in the 80's im outthe ron

fairweather nothing, dude, if your still a fan then you are........ i don't want to get banned. but they are monument to failure. loosing to denver in the playoffs weak.  what can be worse? how about loosing 21 point lead against the colts? oh how about winning ever damn game except for the one that matters! anyone who still supports them, simply has a case of battered fan syndrome. over all the years and it has been about 30 the pats have only given me about 45 seconds of joy.

they should fill the stadium with water and stock it with fish, so those who shop at the bass pro shop can have a place to fish. it would be far more useful
