she hasn't seen it yet
she's out of town right now and last she heard i have a ton of stuff left to do with it so it won't be done this weekend  [evil] [evil] [evil]

on a side note... i guess this is really 99.8% done, as i still need to attach the bell (she has)
I need to shorten the time for edits...

you added the last sentence. [laugh]

Put a big red bow on, and ring the bell.

I'm sure she will love it no matter how you present it, though. :)

I've typed out about a dozen things, all of them very witty and flattering, none of them within the rules of the DMF.

What they all boil down to is: Wow.

Well done, Mr. Fry.  [thumbsup]

That fourth pic down is the money shot.

Also, the more of a surprise it is, the better, but only if you have a friend waiting in the wings with a camera. I like the "nonchalant" idea, but you'll have to have someone capture her reaction while you bask in glory. We all know that without pictures, you don't actually have a girlfriend.  ;) ;D

I can't wait until Marquez gets on his level and makes Jorge trip on his tampon string.

Red is the wrong color for the bow....

make it yellow...

It's a winner.

Dang, that's a nice job there Mr.

Tell her you two will enjoy a picnic instead of the norm. Then as the garage door raises, Bam, so does her response. There it is with bell and bow ready to go. With fruits in the basket, have her break it in while you ride beside her carrying the rest of the meal.

Fantastic job!  Definitely put some good stuff in the basket.  Maybe you could take her out to dinner and the bicycle could come out with the main course.

+1 on the yellow bow....
....or white  ;D

Great idea Howie. Fry-toss a bottle of bubbly or some such in there.
If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

well, me thinks it was a success.
i rode over to her place, put the yellow bow on the seat and casually walked inside.

we talked about her trip, etc etc. then decided to go run some errands. She walked out side and first thought it was her roommate's bike - then realized that this was actually hers.

she seemed to enjoy it - i'm trying to convince her to go on here and write it in her own words but she thinks you guys won't like her.

Hey everyone! So I'm "the GF" that everyone's been referencing- Mr. Fry's woman.  :-*

Anyway, got my beautiful gorgeous amazing bike today... and... can you tell... I LOVE IT! If I were to walk through a massive bicycle shop and could pick out any bike I wanted- this one... would seriously be it. It's utterly perfect.

So yeah- thought I'd say hi to everyone I hear so much about... and just say that Trevor got MAJOR points for the present he gave me... He's pretty much the best thing... well... ever.  :)
