So, Mac and I were talking about taking a ride tomorrow, anyone else want to join us?  We can go where ever you want, but I suggest we end the ride by stopping at The Varsity so we can have a beer or two (REALLY tasty new Kona nut brown ale) and help (or help confuse) Mac on what his next purchase should be.   Grin

I'm up for that which also means that we get a little later start. That's OK too as I could put in a few miles on the Pegoretti in the morning. I checked everything out on it today and it's all good. Made some minor adjustments and installed a good taillight on it for those late afternoon runs. The Seven is getting a killer headlight/taillight setup this week made by DiNotte. Extremely bright flamethrower stuff front and back. Blinding, in fact. I plan to be doing night training this year and I'm not fooling around with wannabe lights.

I've also ramped up the compression/rebound settings front & rear on the Monster. The rear felt pretty good today but then I never got a chance to push it and I've thought I had it set good before. I also called the guy that bought my 999 but his phone's mailbox was full. I'll try again in the morning.

Right now it's stay with the Monster and mod it a bit more or go with a GZXR 750, which is, by far, the best bang for the buck.

So what's the plan?  What time do you think you can make it out?  I sent Michael, the guy that bought my S2R, a message but he is on the mainland.  Guess Tristan and Teddy are still hung over?

I reckon around noon - 1pm, thereabouts.  I just got back from cycling. Did 20 miles light to moderate pace with a stopover at Starbucks  coffee. Gonna get cleaned up and fuss around a bit. Not going to make any judgment on Tristan (I think he may have to work?) or Teddy. Let's just say "you snooze, you lose."

Yea, I was just trying to prob them into action.  Wink

I needed to take the Seven out, but oh well.  Think I might go for a run after our ride.

Oh sure, blast lightly around on motorcycles for a while, then have a couple beers, then go for a run.  Roll Eyes laughingdp

Where do you want to meet up? I'm going to call Al again to see if he wants to go.

One can dream right?  And what's up with you bringing reality in to crush my delusional motivation?

Where do you want to meet up?

Not really sure where to meet.  Want to meet up somewhere downtown, or at the sportspark?  Where do you feel like riding at?

I'm going to call Al again to see if he wants to go.

Let me know if he's going to come out.  Might base my decision on what to ride; should I bring the obnoxious bike, or the fast one.  Wink

He wants to come out. All we need now is a meeting place. He lives in Salt Lake and he's somewhat familiar with the roads but obviously not as familiar as we are. I'm planning on the big roads and the obligatory windward curvy road lap or two. No Sandy Beach or Waimanalo run. Waimanalo was a parking lot yesterday.

Meet at the shop 12:30 to 1pm? Just a suggestion. If some other place works better for you let me know as I have to get back in touch with Al.

1pm at the shop it is! There'll be 3 of us so far. Anyone else is also welcome (you slackers, and you know who you are!  Grin )

Ok, I think I am going to bring the S and will most likely be sweeping today; still don't really trust those tires...

Tristan doesn't have to work today, believe it or not, but his friend is leaving the island for good tomorrow, and he is in charge of the shindig.  And he is still sick as the proverbial pup.

There's always next week or the week after. Hope your BBQ shindig went well! Don't worry, only two of us made it today. Had some good corners, some smakin' headwind gusts on H3 and some good beers.
