I shoot at TacPro. They have a 1000 yard range (for members) that is a lot of fun. Anyone can get on the 500.

I sold the .50. Wasn't accurate at all.  I went to an AI .308 with a Schmidt&Bender 4.5x25.

I know Bill Davison very well. Haven't been to TacPro in a while. Hit a week long AR/shotgun split class years ago that had lots of NRA instructors from Virginia and local 3 gun shooters around the 4th of July holiday... jeez I forget what yeat it was. I showed up just for the tactical shotgun days. Lots of fun except it was about 105 degrees!! Thought about stopping by to say hi when I came back from my dove hunt last week while driving on I-20. Not a long range shooter as I said on Sunday... but I'll give 'em hell from hand shake distance out to 100-200 meters!! waytogo Bill is "good people"! I hope the reason he moved here from England never happens to us. Bastards!

Never been to TacPro, but I hear it's run by a (really cool)  ex SAS guy.
The M82 isn't know for super accuracy... If you were looking for that no doubt you were disappointed.
If Mark Serbu ever gets finished with the BFG-50A we might se a semi that can perform.  Maybe.

Once it cools off a little more we'll have to go to TacPro sometime.

Actually Bill is ex-Special Boat Service if I remember right. The Brits have their special forces spilt into two groups: air and boat. I believe the "boat" folks do most of our Seal work and the "air" folks do a version of SF/Air Cav duty. At least that is what I remember Bill saying. It's a little IZ_ but at my age what the hell isn't!!

First video looks like a clown car unloading.  In more ways than one.

Second video, the sound is outstanding!!!  No wind noise, just kickass throaty roar.  I think I'm having crack flashbacks watching it though.  Reminds me of our iPhones when the camera is on and you move it around.  Really distorted image like that.  It's like a low sample rate with some kind of funky filter algorithm.

The shooter NEEDS an elbow pad!
I got tires of picking splinters and sticking band-aids! -There is one in each range box now.   Cool
Got a bunch of CCI #35's and WC860 the other day... I'll be busy with brass for a while...    bacon bacon bacon

Sometime Ron, you, and I need to stretch out a little farther than Alpine will allow.   waytogo

True.  I learned the hard way on the elbow pad.

The Tiger Valley 1000 yd range is pretty good too, down by Waco.  They (TJ) hold shoots quite a bit for our AR-15 gang/group.

A friend once told my I would be happiest if I could ride a motorcycle out the back of a plane while firing an automatic weapon.  So true!

That's about the going rate right now.
The IMR-5010 powder stockpile from Talon went up in smoke after a lightening strike  Cry

$28 Surplus Powder is a thing of the past.

I just some of the last WC-860 we're likely to see...   Sad

If the Dems get in they're supposedly going to push for "Arsenal Licenses"
...if you have more than 5 cap guns or more than 1000 rounds.

Lucky for Texas that applies to almost nobody here  Roll Eyes

I agree. Not to drag anymore politics into my posts but certain people in high places if elected will be trying very hard to make all shooters, reloaders and gun owners incredibly miserable. Like right before a hurricane hits... you'd better stock up on supplies. Tongue
