Folks that didn't listen to them before they became mainstream, don't know how really good they were. I saw them open for the Police way back in the day.  8)

I'm not sure how many videos of Davy Knowles I have posted in this thread.  The guy is amazing.  Saw him again last Friday at a tiny venue that didn't sell out.  Such a shame.

Anyhow, he's from the Isle of Man and one of his heroes/biggest influences is Rory Gallagher.  The similarities between the two are uncanny.
