Howdy all,
Thanks to bryant8 for directing me here from the intro section.
wow, I didn't realize there are so much Ducatisti in the area.
Maybe because I'm new to Ducati.
I've been riding for over 3yrs. I used to own an 03 silver/black Honda CBR600F4i w/Akrapovic exhaust.
But now I am a proud owner of a pearl white Monster 696 and enjoy every second of it.
I am also new to the forum thing... old school
So I hope to meet and ride with at least some of you some day [moto]

Nice to see you found your local board!
What area are you in?
I'm in the Dallas area, but used to live in Austin.
Be sure to check out the bike night on Weds (tonight) at Ming's (Austin)

they have no care on the road.
But the L-twin is taking care of me nicely [moto]
I'm in Austin and I'll keep an eye out for any weekend or holiday plans.

Well a BIG Texas howdy pardner or something equally ridiculous as that ! Welcome to the board and once again thanks Bryant for looking out for us slacking Austinites.....
This Sunday we're meeting @ Jo's Coffee Shop 1300 S. Congress @ 0800 to ride....you're welcome to join us...kickstands up promptly @ 0830 however! Be advised we're not sqiudly Bozos, so if that's your bag, we'd like to meet you anyway! If you can't make that, we ride alot and meet typically @ Jo's on the weekends...(except M1 Tanker who prefers something called "food" before his ride!)

0800?!
Looks like I need to adjust my sleeping hours a bit
. I am a nocturnal mammal due to the work schedule. But I'll try to make this one... no guarantee, so don't hold me to it.
By the way, where do you all usually ride? and your style? As I like to know in advance because I do not want to hold the group back since I am still breaking in my scooter [moto]
As for riding gears I always wear helmet, jacket, gloves, and boots with jeans when I ride. No suit yet though...
So, let me know if this can still be my cup of tea. Otherwise I might just swing by and wave you all off until my Monster is fully awaken.

Sorry about the time slot....traffic gets busy on the out-roads we ride if we leave any later.......
Ride routes change all the time, but if you need a general idea---west...........the roads 20 miles northwest and southwest of Austin are our favorite....we also have some fun inner city runs as well.....with emphasis on fun for all and of course, lunch....
Riding style? Just a good time for all...we all wear gear, are considerate, safe and look out after each other on the road......pace can be quick at times, but everyone's style is considered and we wait up at every major intersection so nobody gets lost.....
Speaking for all of us, first rides with new groups can be weird to some...so what, we all started somewhere/sometime...the important thing is to "start".
Whether you can make Sunday or not, we look forward to meeting you

First off, welcome to the board Sleeper.
Now for the real reason I'm posting. Watch out for GoneGrape, he's a trixy bastard. Him and the rest of his buddies definitely made an impression on my first ride with 'em.
