Anyone knows if there is a clutch cover that is transparent? I dig the open clutch look, but I can't stand how loud it is when it's open.. I particularly dislike the knife sharpening sound when you pull the clutch... it's louder than the engine Shocked

I have seen one with a plastic window but it still had holes in the side.  You can always try switching to an aluminum basket.  It is much quieter.

I'm pretty sure Rizoma made/makes an open clutch cover with a plastic window.  Lemme see if I can track down a pic.

Ah, maybe silentbob and I were talking about the same thing.  I *thought* they made ones without the sides open, but maybe that's wrong.

Your engine "purrs!!??"   Shocked   Is it a Ducati?  If so, you'd better get it into the shop!!

I didn't think about that.. every time I remove the stock cover.. IT IS FILTHY with black dust .. I guess from the plates' friction.

I just put a stock cover on yesterday. At stop signs n whatever the open cover doesn't bother me too much, but it wears on my nerves in the garage where it is deafening, and between the houses which I'm sure my neighbors love when I get home at 7am. It was great fun for awhile, but it drowns out even the exhaust. I'm leaning towards staying stock.
So no, it's not just you.

Upgrade your clutch. Billet is alot quieter than steel.
