does anyone know where I can get a single race seat for my monster 900ie, want something a bit smaller that will leave the back part of the frame exposed. Have considered getting one made up custom but obviously would prefer if I could just buy one and keep the standard spare for when I take a pillion. Noticed that the new 694 monster has one standard but not sure whether that would fit a 900.
Thanks

i'm assuming you mean a cover for the rear?
the 696 does have it standard in the states it's the 696+
you can order rear covers from any duc shop. never heard of a single seat though except for customs like celli's

DP makes a solo seat out of carbon fiber... pricey, and esoteric, to boot  waytogo

No Raux, already have the back cowling and the standard seat, but was wondering if there is a more minimal seat available,...
Teddy, what is DP?, is that Ducati Parts?
Thanks

Ducati Performance - the high price after market add-on and accessories from Ducati.

That catalog you read on the weekend is mostly DP stuff!

IIRC, you have to replace the side panels, as well, but the seat ends above the taillight, just like the stock one

This seat does expose more of the frame.  DP # 96949202B.  It is made for 2001 to 2004 monsters.  My bike is a 97.  I was able to shave the foam in the front to make it fit the tank.
