The DML is dead -- or it is for me.  No use playing in the sandbox when the ADMIN blows the whistle all the time calling foul.  Plus when they kept blocking the sidewalks to get there -- it was getting old fast.

So time to cut, weld, paint, mold, autoclave, CMM, CNC, design and build some new stuff -- and a new sandbox to play in with cool people again too!

Hey Mark!

How goes the biz?

I stopped building the DesmoDevil's this last February.  (I might do 10 more in late 2009 but to manufactured specs given the demand for them still)

Focus is getting all the cool aftermarket parts that I have designed/prototyped for regular Ducati's to production. (I didn't have time while doing the DesmoDevils)  BoomTubes are coming finally! (S4, S4R and S4Rs first -- others to follow)  Trick was finding a facility that could manufacture them for me to my specifications which are incredibly strict.  (ended up bouncing 17 facilities and I'm at the best on the West Coast now)  Currently dyno testing bikes before/after and with tuning changes to document the results. There are 19 other products in the works to get "manufactured" via CNC machining or magnesium casting or carbonfibre (autoclave).  The move up here (from Phoenix to outside of Tacoma) was good and my resources to access to build stuff is much greater.  BoomTubes should be on the street the first week of July.  The other items will start appearing thereafter.  (some are being tested now by enthusiasts who weren't involved in the development -- I want "joe public" to be able to install and use without problems and long term durability)

Awesome, I'm so glad you decided to go this route.  You do create some amazing bikes, but I think the Monster population has been savoring (what an apropos last name...) over so many of your "pieces" and with the demise of other high-end Duc accessory making companies, it will truly be a great thing for all of us (well at least those of us who ride Ducs, which unfortunately, doesn't include me at this time).

Mark,

Bernard from vizi-tec here. Thanks for the heads up about this new site!
