The day my faith in humans was restored.


[beer] beers for my homies.
Gaspar, Melchior and Balthasar kicked me out of the band..... they said I didnt fit the image they were trying to project. 

So I went solo.  -Me

You know, everyone was so nice afterward.  I was an American 2 days into a 6 week back-packing trip through Europe, with my wife, before kids.  The entire trip, everyone (in france, belgium, italy, switzerland, czech, you name it) asked us if we were American (is it SO obvious?!?) and they were SO compassionate and nice and generous, and seemed to really love us.  I haven't been back there since.  I must say I'm curious what the reception would be now.   (or...should that go in the politics thread?  sorry!  At least I didn't say "Kill")
