I got a room at a motel 6 a few miles from the track, booked last year. I lost all the info and had to call their main number couple of weeks back to find out which motel 6 it was. "hi, um....I booked a room with you and have no idea which hotel it was, but I know it was in indy."   there are so many hotels, Indy has the infrastructure to host large events  i'm looking at one that's located SE of the track, halfway between the track and the downtown area... also looking to the north of the track near the ducati dealer... |

So i guess if you want to purchase race day only tickets, the only option is on race day? I have a bunch of buddies who can only make race day due to other commitments.
