I have the opportunity to buy a used 696 with 400 miles on it from someone who has posted it on CL. It is stock, no modifications

Is the warranty transferrable if I purchase it?

BTW, the dealer it was purchased from is offering me the same bike for 9980 out of the door.  How much should I offer for the used one (from an individual, not the dealer)? I still have to pay tax in my state which is 9.3% for the used one.

TIA

ya gotta figure in that right now i think they are still in high demand at dealers so everyone is paying retail+ for the bike. that's 8775 + TTL and setup
also figure that there aren't that many used one on the market either.
if anyone sells one they will probably expect a loss, but not a significant cause you can't get deals from the dealers yet.
so if most are paying 9500 new, a 15% loss out the door would be in the 8000 range.

use the 600 mile service to work the asking price down since it is coming up.
