i just bought these for my 696...

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/XENON-DUCATI-MONSTER-620-695-S4RS-696-HID-Glare_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ35621QQihZ020QQitemZ300258172535QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW

now i'm wondering if anyone has changed the "middle" light in the headlights. now that i installed the xenon bulbs that "middle" yellowish light looks funny. i was wondering if anyone has changed that bulb to more of a whiter or blueish color. in the manual its called the side light and it uses a H6 bulb.

thats not gonna fit the 696.

Well, im assuming it wont since the 696 doesnt use the H4 bulb. If its similar sized and shape, then yea it wont have any issues. but no guarantees.

i don't under stand it won't fix the 696?

i know in the auction it says H4 bulb. but it came with the H7 for the low. and a H1 for the high. i have those installed.

now there is a H6W bulb that goes in between to two. its kind of like a park light or something. that is the one i need to change. because my headlights have that xenon look. that middle "yellowish" H6W bulb looks out of place...

Does anyone know if it's possible to put true bi-xenon headlight on a 696?  Not just xenon style bulbs, but an actual bi-xenon projector like out of a 2006 G35 Coupe.   I can't find anything on the subject.  bang head

deoesn't the middle one only come on in the park mode. so you would want a lowlevel yellow light not something too bright and powerful to drain the battery.

The middle bulb is on whenever the bike is running or the key is in park.  Color and watts are not the same thing.

Other part will be required or expect a fire.
