FYI all.
I have no
clue
what the significance of the bricks is.
I don't even know what they are. Perhaps the path to the bathroom?

Seriously?
Well, if you's for reals, here ya go:
"Following an initiative by automotive parts and highway pioneer Carl G. Fisher, an Indiana native who was both a former race car driver and one of the principal investors in the track, the safety concerns for race drivers and spectators eventually led to a substantial additional expenditure to pave the track surface with 3.2 million paving bricks, thus giving the track its popular nickname "The Brickyard." Today, 3 feet (0.91 m) of original bricks still remain at the start/finish line."

Apparently you are not familiar with the great race known as the Indianapolis 500.
Known as the "Greatest Spectacle in Racing"
aka the largest single day sporting event in the world............
The Indianapolis Motor Speedway is the most well known track in the world.

You throw nearly 500,000 people in one area on one day.............
Yeah, you will have some great people watching opportunities.

Anyone know who the guy is in the pic at the bottom of page three? My wife and I had the pleasure of standing in line with him at the Stoner autograph signing

Read a book.
I read two-three every week. There is a library in my apartment.

Jagstang and I were in the Island most of the weekend.
We were very well behaved on saturday because we forgot the beer, and didn't want to pay $.50/ounce at the track.
Sunday, I was carrying around a backpack (not cooler) full of cowboy cool budweiser and heineken, while nick carried a camelback full of redbull/vodka. We were both super-wasted by noon, and probably made a spectacle of ourselves in the tent.
Btw, if anyone of you found my sunglasses (ray-ban aviators) that's awesome, and I don't particularly want them back.
If you found my wallet however, I would really appreciate it if you could drop it in the mail (address on my expired license). It would have been full of expired drivers licenses, student id's, and some other bullshit. No credit cards or anything like that.

Here is Toasty and I in front of Stoner's garage right before they started up Stoner's bike (after several failed attempts).
Holy shit, is that thing loud.
WTF?? That's not Cyrus!! THIS is Cyrus:

"Yelling out of cars, turning your speakers out the window to blast your music onto the street, setting off M-80 firecrackers, firing automatic weapons into the air—these are all well and good. But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.
