I haven't been following this whole thread so:

What type of bacon will be eaten?  [bacon]  [clap]

I've been eating quite a bit of bacon lately (cheap and pricey), and I'll tell you, the cheap (very salty) bacon will make it even more difficult to eat at that quantity!  [puke]

15 minutes is more than enough time to eat 5 pounds of bacon.  Eat it now, taste it later. 

Isn't the total cooking loss of bacon between 50-65%, depending on how lean it is?  You're losing nearly 2 pounds to cooking loss.

The Bac-O-lympics have been postponed until West-Coast DIMBY which is April 25-26th.  We're contact different bacon processors to try and get someone to 'sponsor' the Bac-O-lympics.

There will be three events:
The 2-minute 'pile it in'
The 30 minute 'how big is yer gut'

(and for the ladies)

The most seductive consumption of a single piece of bacon


There will be a video which will end up on YouTube those that can't attend...
