I will be there on Saturday.  I am in the Gaithersburg area and will be leaving at 9 AM.  If anyone needs to ride with somebody, I know the area pretty well..

Just so everyone knows, the only day for the show is Sunday. Saturday is a group ride only. Both will be fun; however, I want to gawk at all that exotic, classic, metal! [popcorn]

I'm going Saturday and staying at Clarion since I have to carry a bunch of club stuff and help out with the event, otherwise I would lead a ride, if you want a route from G-Town send me an email. If from No. Va just go out Rt. 9,(after Lessburg) to 480, although there is a fun route I could give you as well. email is 2vtwin@comcast.net - Gene

I can lead a ride out to Shepherdstown.  I live in Purcellville, so I can meet you guys somehwere in Fairfax, or Leesburg or someplace like that.

What we've done on past rides is meet at the Starbucks on Rt. 50 in Fairfax and head out from there.  Other people sometimes meet earlier in small groups and ride to Fairfax from DC, and Alexandria; and then we head out as a large pack of marauding hooligans.  [moto]

I can't lead a group back, I'm staying in the area to celebrate my Dad's 80th birthday.

I think the morning rain kept a lot a people away.  It turned into a nice day and didn't rain any more after the morning rain.  This was the first time I've been so I don't know what previous year turnouts have been.  Here are a couple of pictures from Motofest of bikes I liked:

DucPond's 944 SuperSport:

This was one I had never heard about.  The Moto Morini Camel 500 XE.  I guess it was a dual sport bike made in the 80's.

Thanks for the pics! Looks way more sunny than I thought it would have. It was rain and clouds all day back here. I was sooo looking forward to that too, but wasn't going to bother going out and getting soaked, the bike all trashed, and etc. knowing the turnout would be minimal.

This bike was the highlight of the show for me.  It is a customized Super Sport 1000 DS.  The builder was Lazareth of France.
