Back at TOB, there was a fun, long thread on favorite motorcycle songs -- including one I never got around to checking out that's about the Monster. Figure it's worth rebuilding some of that knowledge over here -- and that I might be able to track down that tune!  To start things off, here's my all-time favorite:

"1952 Vincent Black Lightning," by Richard Thompson. I know of cover versions by Greg Brown & Reckless Kelly, and there are probably others.

And the inspiration for firing up this thread again is a song I'd forgotten until it popped up on a random play just  yesterday:

"Come a Long Way, " by Michelle Shocked. What's not to like about a song that opens with the lyric "I kicked in his door at five a.m./I've come for my bike I told the repo man."

An awesome song I happened upon while listening to SoupKast.

The song, titled, "The Isle" was written and sung by Soup's hard-working sound engineer Phil Fuson.

Just remembered this one from my yout' (and ponied up the $.99 at iTunes, 'cause the vinyl version was played to death) -- "CB200" by Dillinger. Solid roots reggae tribute to the little Honda.

Umm... How about this 8 minute classic?  I say classic because it's older than me.
