Raux, the wheel stripe looks great on your bike. Also, painting the headlight housing makes such a HUGE difference. I have been thinking about doing that as well, and it might be my project for this weekend. I won't lie, the headlight on my 696 dark is my least favorite part. But making it all black... waytogo

thanks. yeah i didnt like the silver/black they had going with it. either all silver or all black.. i'm not sure how much my paint job will hold up. i went with rattlecan for now, but i think powdercoated may be in the future should this not hold up too well. BUT touchup is easy!

I will most likely do the same. Although I am going to try and hunt for some etching primer in the can before I drop any black paint on there. Did you do a gloss black or matte? I can't really tell from the photo. I am thinking about doing matte black on it.

The Tapeworks guys look like that they make a good product.  I might have to get some reflective red for my 09 696 dark monster.  Just need to decide whether to add color or leave it dark

RBX QB said tapeworks had a pre-curve.  I couldn't find it on their site.  Probably will go with those guys you links though if I get some wheels stripes.
