Craiglist is crappy but hey its free!!  Mine actually sold through there. The more exposure the better

I bought my monster and sold my dirtbike (as well as mc gear and a rear stand) on craigslist.

If you post it on craigslist, just refuse to negotiate through email. That cuts out most of the idiot time wasters and only the people semi interested in buying will contact you by phone, then only those serious will come look at the bike and negotiate. I've sold two bikes that way, the only way to use cl...

Lemme qualify my issue.

When I listed my bike on CL, I had a dozen people email me to say they were interested.  4 of them scheduled time to see the bike, only to cancel hours beforehand.  It was like no one took the sale seriously.  It was a true waste of my time.

CL is a gamble, but this late in the season Pat needs all the exposure he can get, so what the hell. FWIW, I sold my old CB on CL pretty fast.   bacon
