I guess these are not suppose to replace the S4R's 95hp at 7500rpm and an impressive torque of 10.5kgm (79.5lb-ft) at 6000rpm.

I think it will be a good bike. I'm kind of glad that the new ones don't look quite as good as the old classics like ours, but they are probably better bikes.

I hope you're right, but it doesn't sound that way: "...the Monster 1100 now takes its place at the head of the Monster family." Why would they go from the Testastretta to this? Because they're creating a Ducati Fighter, or so the rumors go.
