Ok, I've had her back for a week now. Today, JP from BMS called me to make sure that everything was running well. I assured him that it was. Better than well. The bike is great. It is faster, prettier, and runs canyons almost faster two-up than solo.
Another reason to mention why I am very pleased with BMS: They got the frame in at 5ish (I think) in the evening. By 3ish the next day it was ready to go. And they didn't just slap it together. All the pretty MPL billet frame plugs are right side up. All of them. I tried to take a picture of them, but they're too shiny and clean (another reason to be very pleased). That kind of attention to detail is why I would recommend the shop to anyone.
In that time period, they also ran it on the dyno:
When I got there to pick it up, JP spent half an hour putting on my new hand guards for me. At no charge. I had the other saddlebag with me (dusty from sitting in my apartment). As I put it on the bike, Brian got a towel and some cleaner and started polishing it. These guys rock and they deserve our business.
Maybe we can get the kids together for a playdate!
So you can take video of me going really slow?
Maybe. I'm a little hesitant to ride with a group right now as I've been off my bike for so long, and had a broken wrist before that which kept me from riding.
