Anybody know where I can get a spare for that plunger pin and bushing that go in the clutch lever? I bought some Pazzos but I can't get the set screw out of the bushing in the stock lever. The dealership says the only way to get a spare is by buying the whole $250.00 assembly. I know I read somewhere about somebody else having the same problem but I can't search it up. Anybody know a cheaper solution? I don't want to keep messing with my stock one and make it unusable but I'd like to find a cheaper-than-$250.00 solution. Appreciate any help.

Try heat on the set screw that holds the pin in the old lever.

Yes, I did, but I'm done messing with the one I have. My mind is made up to get spare parts but I'd rather find something cheaper than 250. Know any options?

I have bought stuff from Chris before and been happy. One of his most recent posts said he didn't have much for levers but I will give him a try. Thanks for reminding me. Anybody now where to get the stuff new?

Is your dealer charging you $250 for a lever (which is available seperately) or a whole master cylinder assembly?  A new lever can be bought from Yoyodyne for about  $80, and your dealer should be able to get one for a little more.

GTA,
I had the same problem installing new levers--it took me about 4.7 seconds to round off the set screw.  I wrapped electricians tape around the plunger pin so it wouldn't get chewed up, then backed it out with a pair of vice grips.  Reinstalled the bushing in the new lever, applied Loctite to the threads of the plunger pin, and seated it to the proper depth.  Hope this helps.

I also had the same problem about unscrewing the set screw for the plunger. After searching the internet this is what I found and it helped me. If there is any gunk in the set screw head, clean it out. I used a pin to get that stuff out of there. Once it was clean I bought a new set of metric allen wrenches. Don't buy those allen wrenches that are just thrown in a group bin, because you want the edges of the new allen key as mint as possible. I was able to get the set screw out with no problem after that.

Try here: http://www.yoyodyneti.com/

They have a very good selection of oem Brembo parts.

Thought I heard somebody say Ducati Seattle or Motowheels had that pin.

Yoyodyne is good to do business with too.
