You mean the same sweeeet puppies your forum sponsor has for only $774.95??

http://bellissimoto.com/CompWerkesMonster.html

Also, some FHE on the CW pipes...

THEY RULE.

I have them on my 1098 (seen below), and they are freakin awesome. Sound, Performance, Looks, Heat Radiance, Quality, Welds, etc... They don't have a single flaw in my book.

What? There are no pipes in this pic. Hell, I don't even see a motorcycle! Grin

He responded today!

I made the baffle out of these mini muscle baffles.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/MINI-MUSCLE-MUFFLER-BAFFLE-8-LONG-1-3-8-DIA-USA-MADE-_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQhashZitem3f0729d1f9QQitemZ270703120889QQptZMotorcyclesQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories#ht_727wt_941

I was surprised with the high quality of the baffle. Bought 2 of them in the 1 3/8" size and they fit perfectly snug in the existing tip. Drilled a hole through the baffle and into the existing baffle that is welded in and screwed in a self tapping screw.

Worked perfectly. Greatly reduced the volume, it's basically perfect. The only down side is a lot of the bass was suppressed by the new baffle. Good news is, the baffle is removable and re-installable.

I plan on buying a second tip from Ryan and hopefully getting my hands on the new gen baffle he mentioned in the email I got from him today.

I installed a 4 1/2" X 2" baffle today in the Rodan box. Pretty easy to remove it if I decide to go louder... But, give bike the same sound, just not as loud..

001

It sounds identical in the clips with it installed, but in person, not as loud and a little more "refined" I guess you could say.

Nice Raux!!  waytogo

Well, after much deep thought and consideration and even tho I REALLY wanted to work with the CRM's so damn badly, hubby "surprised" me with these:

The sound is awesome-the deep growl I was looking for!  Now trying to decide whether to add the LeoVince Stickers or nawt?  Kinda liking em without stickers.
I have the carbon LV, I found it too loud maybe because I was inside the garage when I measured the readings, I had the db killer out. One thing i did was cut off about half the db killer and re installed them.

Sorry for the crappy pic, I took it with my phone.  But here are the Zard Penta's on my 1100s.

ive been intending to change my 696 stock exhausts but have been hearing quite a few varied comments and would really like to have them clarified before I make any changes....

- Having slip-ons without installing the DP Race ECU will screw up your bike in the long run. Someone also told me he had LV's installed and his idling went to 2000 RPM??

So I guess my question is: Is there anyone who has slip-ons without changing their ECUs and airfilters? Any problems so far and will it have any problems in the long run? Sorry if this sounds noobish but ive been trawling the forum and havent found a direct answer for this or i might have missed it ... thanks and appreciate any help on this!  chug

I made no modification to my ECU or air filter; sklip-on's only. No ill side effects.

I have LV Carbons slipons with stock filter and ECU. The box actually says they are designed for stock mapping. Bike runs fine, I ride at 2200-2400ft ASL.

Look up ^^^^^^^^

They are SC Project GP slip ons. My bike is an 1100 though I don't think it matters.

I put the zards on my 1100 and it runs fine, not much different then with stock exhaust besides for the sound of course, but stock monsters run lean to begin with so I know it could run better with an ecu flash which is why I will be sending mine in soon.  If you like how it runs stock adding the slip ons without an ecu flash will not cause any issues.

anyone... I need a stock front exhaust sheild and mounting hardware (clips, screws, etc)... asap

anyone have a full termi on their bike and have it around?

if you don't have the mounting hardware, ie if you put a CF one on, I'll take what you got.

Thanks guys, that really helped put into perspective over what ive heard (the IMPOSSIBILITIES of just adding slipons without changing or reflashing the ECU and filters).

From the Danmoto thread - some pics of my wife's M696 with the Danmoto carbon fibre slipons:

Quick and dirty summary: great (loud, but very nice) sound, good quality pipes, absolute shit mounting hardware.  Wink
