Anyone headed to Donnie's with room for an 848?

Given the shards of magnet from the oil drain plug that I keep pulling out of the 848 and the fact that the oil drain plug thread does not seem wonky, it probably means that the internal thread is F'd up because I tried to tighten the drain plug when it was probably not lined up correctly, which in turn, probably shattered the freaking magnet.

Long story short, is anyone going to Donnie's any time soon and do you have room for my bike?

I should not be allowed near tools.

Update: the internal threads are indeed crushed. If I don't get the 848 down to Donnie's I'm not going to have a bike for MAD VIR.

Thanks everyone! Stillie has volunteered his towing services today.

Keep your fingers crossed that Donnie can work his magic to get my oil drain pan threads unsquashed before VIR.  :(

Diane,

I'm glad an upstanding member like "Stillie String" is able to help you out.  I'd bet Donnie will fix her up.

If you were to live up to your quote above... then most of us (tools) would miss you.   ;D

Thanks to Stillie and Donnie and with support from Emily and Craig, the 848 is now re-threaded and will be ready to roll for VIR  [thumbsup]

Thanks again to everyone who gave or offered assistance or took my frantic phone calls.

You tools guys rock.  ;)

Thanks Gene, that really means a lot to me.  [beer]

One thing I've learned over the years is that no one takes care of us (motorcyclists) but us. Frankly I wouldn't have it any other way.
