Went to Sears today, got the 182 piece mechanics tool set for $149, saved $80.  The 154 was the same price, was a no brainer getting the larger one.  Don't know where I'm putting that box though...

Something like that is really worth its weight in gold if your going to be moving the tools to get to your bike....your keeping it right?

I've heard good things of Husky but never used them so I didn't want to say anything. Snap-On, is of course, great, but much more expensive and beyond the needs of 99% of non-professional tinkerers.

i have the husky 160+ socket set that i baught from home depot, its great ive use it at work all the time one the oldass pieces of shit diesel trucks and forklifts we have there as well as on all the company trucks and cars. i even broke the 3/8s rachet in a 1" bolt that was rusted ( i had to use 3/8 to 1/2 inch adapter and extension on a 2 foot long breaker bar to do it). i took it back to home depot and they replaced it on the spot with no questions asked.

plus i think the black chrome steel looks awesome and with the gold lettering it is very easy to read the size on each socket.
it is so much easier to get forgiveness then it will ever be to get permission.
