Were they for an M800 or an S2R800? There is a difference.

Yea, the ones I bought were advertised with the Ducati part number for the S2R800.  I checked on the Ducati accessory page before bidding and matched it with the part number posted on the auction.

CairnsDuc, the vents on the ebay auction look identical to the ones I bought.  I assume the ones for the S2R's are just a little smaller, but you might want to contact the seller if you decide to bid and at least get a length measurement.  The vents that I actually recieved were about 1 to 1 1/2 inches longer then the spacing in my frame that they should mount in.  Should be pretty easy to check and might save you a lot of hassle and/or shipping.

I had a look, they are a little bashed up and he is only shipping to the USA anyway.

I'm not buying from the US until the dollar gets a little better, The little Aussie bleeder is down around 70 cents at the moment, has to be 80 cents or higher, so I might be holding off for a while yet.

Looks like I'll have to ride faster to get more air into the rear cylinder  waytogo

Good Morning your Honour! Speeding? No, I was merely traveling at that speed to assist Air flow to the Vertical Cylinder of my Air cooled Ducati.......  cheeky

slight threadjack.  I got Roadracing polished alloy ones.

Need to take those plastic wedge frame protector thingies off to fit them.

How do they come off?

They are made by a now defunct company called Roadracing Italia.
Finding stuff now is a bit of a lotto

I got mine from jack lilley Triumph in the UK i think they were the uk importer and are clearing the stock,

I know that a few months back Fast by Ferracci had some roadracing stuff.

A wanted ad on here may turn up a few leads.
