Not sure if this is the right spot, but I wanted to show off my new compressor setup, copper plumbing, etc..
I've never soldiered/sweated? copper before, so I hope tomorrow after I put some pressure in it there are no leaks!
Old, craftsman pro 30g compressor. She worked well and hard, just can't keep up with me anymore. I had this one in my go-kart trailer, but now has been removed and forced into shop duty......which she can't handle. Sold for $150.
In with the new. Nothing super fancy/expensive in the world of compressors, but double the output of the craftsman. 60 gallon, and double the SCFM's at both 40 and 90psi.....I should be able to spray bikes now with this setup!
Copper is $$$ now...damn why didn't I buy more before! I also installed a retractable hose reel in the ceiling, no more air hose mess across the floor.
There is a drain valve under the air supply line at the welding table as well to get rid of any excess moisture that may find it's way there.
BONUS - new compressor has a home in the basement! Not only will it not take up any floor space in my small 2 car, but I don't have to listen to it run anymore
Since the comp is in the basement, most/all moisture will drain back into the trap installed just after the air tank. I bought an auto-purge valve and connceted it to the wastewater plumbing in the basement, so I no longer have to manually drain the compressor tank

Storage room off garage:
After I do a motor swap in a car, I will be doing the entire garage floor in the VCT tiles like the storage room has. Checkered entrance, then large grey w/black patches for the bike parking....and a spot for a cage.
