Jetting FCR's
«

I'm trying to do this right now, and in the interest of getting some info about it on this site, I thought I'd start a thread and post a couple links i've found very helpful. Please add any tips or tricks you may know
Thanks

Those are good links.
If we tell the mods that has been done and what jetting we have. espesially if you have 944 kit, it may be hard to find correct settings, unless you try and try. Those jets aint cheap(1Xslow jet= 17,5 euro in finland)
I have pod filters, open frescos,m900,41mm fcr and I live at sea level
my settings are:
Fuel screw 3/4 turn
Slow Air Screw 1 turn
Float height 9mm
Main Jet 155
Main Air Jet 200
Slow Jet 60
Needle EMT
Needle Clip 4rd from top
And now it runs great.

Mine: 41mm`s, polished/matched ports, 900SS heads, 0.94mm squish, HC, TCI-P4 ignition, Dynas, SilMoto high.
Settings:
Fuel screw 1,25 turn
Slow Air Screw 1,5 turn
Float height 9mm
Main Jet 162,5
Main Air Jet 200
Slow Jet 60
Needle EMT
Needle Clip 3rd from top
FCR are very sensitive to sync.

I just picked up some FCR's in a trade. The thing is they're 39's and I have a 99 900. Mods are 2 into 1 exhaust and pod filters. Any suggestion guys? I know 41's are in order but was told that I could make these work.
Thanks - Gil

on a 93 900 SS and 41's
have:
58 slow circuit, air screw at only 1 turn, 4th clip on needle (1 down from center) and stock 155 main
not the 39's but maybe a benchmark

I'm sure you can. They'd be better on a 750, but for street riding I think they'd be fine. I'd suggest you pick Chris' brain at CA-Cycleworks.

I shot chris an email but from what I've heard he's a pain to get a hold of.

I have a issue with the 39 FCR's. I plugged in the fuel line and clamped it down HARD and theres fuel leaking at the junction. WTF? is there a seal or something missing here.
TIA - Gil

Then add in my dumb questions and his inbox gets pretty full. He will get back with you.
About your leak, take a look at an exploded view.
