The new (smaller) MD tags are available now. Seems like a good reason to switch to personalized plates.

My friend just got the new ones today for his 748... They are relatively smaller as in you CAN tell they are smaller but they aren't as small as the NY or CA ones!

Uh...wait...i thought Maryland was the only state that had a different size tag (8-1/2" x 4-1/2"), which was how they got it passed. If you look at any tag frames online, they are 49 state (7" x 4"). the complaint has been that MD tags were the only ones that were different. I know because i was trying to market a tag bracket for the S*R bikes. But of course i could be wrong.

You are correct. They used to be bigger and now they are smaller (smaller than they used to be, not smaller than other states)

Got mine on FRI.  You do have to pay $20 to "exchange" but well worth it. :)  I never got vanity tags before because the tag was TOO BIG!  Now, it's reasonable size letters and such - much harder to read.  :P
Can you imagine a world without a Ducati???  I think it's called Hell. :)

I'm applying for some combination of 0's, 1's, I's, and O's :) If I ever get called out on it I can just say I am com-sci geek.
