Being the happy owner of a '07 BMW K1200S I must say the bike is a dream to ride.

Early on I thought that I could ride the S faster than my 1098 R.

I still like the ABS brakes better for the street and have never had an issue w, the handling . Smoothest transmission I've ever come across.

Granted it is a heavier bike than the 1098 R but it doesn't feel heavy to me accept now that I am a beter rider on the " R " I notice it and the lack of HP between the S and 1098 R.

W, the adjustable suspension setup from the switch on the left handlebar , the bike is very comfotable and responsive. Heated handgrips , a switch on the right handlebar.

W, a Remus Slipon , the S has a racous sound w, afterbursts between shifts and on decelaration.

It's no " R " but it is a whole lot of FUN.

Waiting for the Homolagation of the MotoGP - BMW .. do in showrooms in '09 .

ps. Never cared for the K1200R.   Dolph

You mean World Superbike.  ;) MotoGP bikes are prototypes...therefore no homologation requirements. Also, BMW doesn't participate in MotoGP and aren't planning to that I've heard.
