midpipe repair.

Went down the other day and bent a section of my midpipe. Can I just cut the bad piece out and weld in a new piece? It is only a few inches long.

stock midpipe right? if you want uniformity you should get a used stock pipe and chop it up. unless you can find a metric header pipe.

I cant remember what bike you had, but i think the 620 might have a smaller midpipe, everything else is a 40mmOD pipe. alternatively, you can cut it, get an exahust expender and just pop the dent out. and re weld. it.
