I think I saw Derby driving today

I pulled up to a light behind a car with the vanity plate R E P O S T (but not spaced between the letters)

for some reason Derby came to mind when I saw it.   






I've been busy lately and not around but when I put r e p o s t with out spaces - this ------> derby   

happens.  Did I miss something?

You've almost managed to answer your own question 

To quote the FAQ board's vocabulary thread...

"derby -- A DMF member know for informing people when they r-e-p-o-s-t.  The board software auto-filter replaces the world "r-e-p-o-s-t" with "derby."  The real derby can be found here."
